Guidelines
The Live Meme Competition at Meme Utsav is designed to promote spontaneity, quick thinking, and creativity among participants. Guidelines and Procedure for the Live Meme Competition at Meme Utsav:
Registration:
- Creators who wish to participate in the Live Meme Competition must register through an online application process. To secure a spot in the competition, creators will be required to pay a registration fee, which will be equivalent to the ticket price for attending Meme Utsav. The exact registration fee will be announced soon (TBD).
Online Meme Competition:
- Before the main event, the creators will face an online meme competition. This competition will serve as a qualifier round, where participants will showcase their meme-making skills and humor. Based on their performance in this round, the best 100 creators will be chosen to proceed to the finale at Meme Utsav.
Selection of Top 100 Creators:
- After the registration period ends, the organizing committee will review the applications and select the top 100 creators from around the world. These pre-selected participants will be invited to compete in the Live Meme Competition during Meme Utsav.
Live Meme Challenges at Meme Utsav:
- On Day 1 and Day 2 of Meme Utsav, the selected top 100 creators will gather at the event venue. Each day will feature a series of rounds presenting different brand-integrated meme-related challenges. These challenges could include creating memes based on specific topics or themes, captioning viral images or videos, or reenacting famous memes in real time.
Creativity and Judging:
- The contestants must demonstrate their comedic instincts, cultural references, and up-to-date knowledge of internet trends to craft the funniest and most relatable content. Their performances will be evaluated by a panel of meme experts, comedians, and social media influencers. The judges will consider originality, humor, and how well the memes integrate the partnering brands.
Selection of the Best 10 Creators:
- After the completion of all the rounds, the panel of judges will deliberate and select the top 10 creators who excelled in the competition. These best 10 creators will receive exciting prizes and cash rewards as recognition of their meme-making talents.
Finale and Winners' Announcement:
- The Live Meme Competition finale will be an exciting part of Meme Utsav, where the top 10 creators will compete for the ultimate title. The top 3 winners will be announced during a dedicated awards ceremony, celebrating their creativity and contributions to meme culture.
Note (for all the challenges and competition):
The event organizers will review all registrations and select the participants based on the provided information and the potential to deliver entertaining and humorous performances. Selected participants will be notified via email or phone.
